The Duplex Steel Valves produced by Russ Nickel Alloys contain about 22% chromium, 5–6% nickel, and 3% molybdenum, with added nitrogen and manganese to boost corrosion resistance and strength. Their dual-phase microstructure ensures a high tensile strength of up to 620 MPa and a yield strength of around 450 MPa, along with impressive resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
